Attachments for graded discussions are non counted against [the student's] user quota and cannot exist deleted".

Alarm - Instructor Prerequisite If the teacher plans on assuasive students attach files to discussions, they need to make sure the option "Attach files to discussions" is selected. This is described in the following Canvas guide: How exercise I allow students to attach files to a course discussion?.

This means if students are using the webcam recorder via a laptop or desktop estimator, those videos will not go against any quota. This would also require that students have a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam.
